Normally I would only use clubcard points and vouchers for the clubcard deals.
This one, however, I thought was a great bargain :-

Till spit
200 extra points for a £20 tesco Mobile E-top up
used with a clubcard mailing for 200 extra points for a £20 top up

So £10 worth of coupons...used to get £20 of vouchers
gives £20 credit and another 20 points back, however

using the triple your credit deal which gives triple credit and triple points

net result of £60 of credit for 540 points. (1000 points initially then 60 back for the purchase and an extra 400 from points coupons)

are there any more bargains that have just come to light with the in-store doubling up of points vouchers?
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

    Further possible bargains?.....
To be able to get double the spend on groceries/beer/electrical has anyone bought something in, say, the clothes department and returned it successfully (without receipt, presumably) to get a gift card?

i returned an item of clothing this week which i had paid for in cash and had not used any offers on but because i didn't have a reciept i could only get an exchange in the clothing department only to the value it was instore that day
so if you are using tesco cc vouchers you will get what the item is worth as an exchange

from my experience, they will not accept any tesco clothes back without a valid receipt.

Yes but the offer ends Sunday 17th
Gallo 5 Oaks Cabernet Shiraz or Shiraz Rose £8.99 a bottle or any 3 for £10 saving £33.94 or £43.94 if you double up a £10 voucher to the £20 spend but remember that with the 5% discount for 6 bottles or more it will only cost £19 so you must add a bottle of cheaper wine to make up the £1 difference and do not make the mistake of adding an extra 5 Oaks as you will pay the full £8.99 for just one bottle
 or should I say wine
    I am not a beige person:D

I haven't tried this yet but I thought it was even better than that.:D

I don't think you'd have to add another bottle of wine at all. You could in theory use more Double Up vouchers (only if you pad out your trolley with plenty of other shopping, to bring it back to a £50 total). Has anyone tried?:rolleyes:

The spend on wine, before discounts, would be £8.99 x 6 = £53.94 so couldn't you actually Double Up £25 in CC vouchers, to £50 even though the net spend on wine in your trolley would be a lot less?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Does anyone know whether you can double-up old vouchers, or does doubling up only apply to new ones? We have a load of vouchers that expire in August. We had been trying to save for Virgin Holiday but now realise that Virgin is so expensive it will be more cost-effective to book somewhere else and use vouchers in another way.

    Any advice welcome!

    Yes you can! I did!
  • I'm now off to Tesco to grab some wine bargains! Six bottles of £8.99 wine for £10's worth of vouchers can't be bad!

when you double up your clubcard vouchers they are then valid for 3 months so if your vouchers are due to run out this will extend the life for a bit. Its also worth working out the best way to spend your blues now as the double up can work out better than the deals at they have quite strict limitations ie- you can get chessington entry for 9 pounds but if you go on to chessington website and have an under 4 year old and go on certain days you can get entry for 13 pounds total for you and toddler. wish thats what i had done then could have doubled up my tesco vouchers and got 18 pounds worth of baby stuff and been 5 pounds up!!!!! damn and i am staff but didn't get training untill day after i had ordered my vouchers.
