What is the size of your fund? A £1,124.62 loss might not be too bad if it is a big pot.
You haven't given enough details to allow anyone to assess what funds would be most appropriate for you.If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0 -

Wish I had only suffered a £1124 loss.
Investments zig zag in value. Always have, always will. You cant have 6 years of double digit returns without expecting a couple of negatives in there at some point.
Even when negatives come, its no big deal unless you are retiring in the next year or two. You are now buying your investments much cheaper. It will be these that go on to make the most money.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. So about 19% down. Not at all bad given that mixture.
Why do you have both the uk equity fund units and the bgi uk equity index fund units? Those sound like very much the same thing.0 -

i dont know what im doing , i picked these funds because of a high fund
value lots of people investing in that fund must be a good sign, also i
looked at the previous 5 years investments thats how i picked these,
property should come back
the managed fund seems to invest in things that everyone cant do without.
the 2 uk equity funds im thinking about changing, they seem to invest in
the things that are more effected by the global downturn if it were your
investments what would you do cheers oceanobsession0 -

Or because its been available longer.... or its on other contracts with a lesser choice.....the managed fund seems to invest in things that everyone cant do without.
its a jack of all trades, master of none fund. Aimed at the inexperienced investor. Never will be the best fund but it prevents you from doing damage by picking a random selection of funds without knowing what you are doing.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
