Someone has posted that Apple might be lauching a new iPod on the 1st April.... can anyone shed more light on this rumour??
Or if anyone knows of any links where you can keep up to date with future developments like this?
I'm keen on getting a new mp3 player of some description, but may wait if a new iPod is on the horizon!

I'm a Mac man through & through and I reguarly visit the Macrumors website but to be honest since the main exhibition in January all the rumours that have been circulating over video iPods and the speculation over the recent possible product launches I must admit I'm feeling 'worn' out quite a bit with all the rumours and I start to feel that we are expecting too much from our technology.
For me personally I would like to see a variation on the Mac mini that could be used as a Media centre in conjunction with my Flat screen TV. Some may argue that the latest update of the Mini (now in Intel chip format) is the beast to go for but I personally feel its slightly underpowered and would benefit from being at least similar in specs & HardDrive Capacity to the current iMac (Intel Version), in essence an iMac but without the screen. Just my thoughts anyway and whatever they do bring out I'll want but won't have the money for as I've got to pay for a new bathroom suite this month !!0 -

That's was my post, it's not an April Fools, it's Apple's 30th Birthday. Apple won't make any announcements on the day as it's a Sunday.
I don't have any inside information, just read a lot of Apple news (and rumour) sites. There's a lot of buzz over this at the moment, I'm not that bothered about a video iPod, what I really want is an Intel iBook!
