The best way to find out is to search for quotes on a comparison site - one with a claim and one without and see the difference.

well maybe if you were paying more attention in the first place this would never have happened.

sorry, heres me giving you a reply similar to the one you gave the guy about speeding.

imagine there was a small child between your car and the one you hit, that would have been more dangerous than the guy on the other thread going a few mph over the limit.

ok liz3yy, you asked a question & I hope I can help answer it no need to have the thread deleted for some pettyness. My insurance has not been affected much by a prang I had in my street- but I have got 7 yrs no claims. so don't know how much thats has to do with it. Apts advise was spot on search around your not obligated to take out any of teh quotes and see what happens.

Please delete this thread, I'm obviously not welcome here. I dont speed but thats not enough for some people it seems

your very welcome but dont be pot calling the kettle black.
not paying attention to your driving or manouvres is as dangerous as inappropriate speed. speeding isnt as bad as you think, you watch too many tv ads.

and 6 weeks of driving leaves you in no position to judge another driver and his use of speed. if you never creep over the speed limit in your future of driving, not even once i will be amazed.

It depends on your age and what car you drive, but it can be quite a hefty loading. Best way is to get an online quote with and without the claim in place. But use a made up name, address, and not your reg. number.
And you have been fairly abusive over speeding and mobile phone using in your responses, so it's not too surprising you're being treated the same by others.

Liz3yy the only way you will find out how much it would cost is to do 2 quotes as been suggested, theres other particulars like your address, your age, what car you drive etc that will determine how much it would be
