Is anyone else up for a bit of fun, a laugh and a challange

Have you got a special birthdat coming up, such as 18th/21st/30th/40th/50th etc in the near future, even in the next few years

If so come and join me -

I'm going to be 40 in 2011, and have set myself a list of 40 things to do before I hit 40......,

if your going to be 18, then do a 18 list, 21=21 and so far

You can make the list as serious or as silly as you want to be, for example one of mine is to read 100 Classic Books (ok on ds lite).

I started my list March this yr and have achieved a couple off it already,

Anyone interested, add yourself on, (can allocate you a no)with your list of to do, and we can all support each other

My 40 by March 2011

Here goes, the 40 things I want to do before I am 40 (thou I'm extending to include the whole of 2011).

1. Read 100 classic books (cheating slightly as its on DS)
2. Grow my finger nails
3. Lose 40kg in weight
4. Cook 40 recipies never cooked before - 1. cherry + coconut cake, 2. toffee fudge cake, 3. brack)

5. Go to Prague and Budapest
6. Make sure go horse raceing where possible
7. Take dd to Tunisa - so she can ride a camel and see Sahara Desert - DID APRIL - SAW SAHARA DESERT - DD SAT ON A CAMEL
8. Take dd to Cyprus - hotel I stayed in, go to Egypt from there to see Pyramids
9. Get my 30th tattoo
10. Go to Blackpool tower
11. Take dd to see Blackpool illuminations
12. Have a trip to Cuba planned
13. Go to Las Vegas
14. Watch the Carry On Films in order of release
15. Watch complete Hi-de-Hi series
16. The 40th anniversay of my sister passing away in March 2009, want to do something for that - NAMED A STAR IN HER MEMORY
17. Go up Snowden
18. Go watch cirque de soleli or similar show
19. Go to a waterpark
20. Fly a bird of prey
21. Go across viaduct at Llangollen
22. Afternoon Tea at Ritz (my friends offered to treat me to that for 40th if I pay 5k this yr off debt)
23. Have a family picture
24. Traceing some ancestory
25. Study an OU course in 2009, 2010, 2011 - On course 2009- Business
26. Watch Dawlish Carnival
27. Go on Waterboat trip at home
28. Welshpool Steam Railway
29. Bridgnorth steam railway
30. Train between Bridgnorth low town/high town
31. Read 20 books
32. Orient Express (again) - Update booked Dec 09 going with my Aunty, and there paying half my fare........(they feel quilty as I redeemed some Sainsburys points, (if spent in store would be £15. Saved the two of us £136.00
33. Buy a Wii
34. See a medium
35. Be as near to debt free as possible
36. Horse drawn boat
37. Learn to use mini sewing machine
38. Have a family picture around my 40th bday
39. Learn to play 10 of the DS games
40. Find a man

I know I have some expensive holiday plans, but there things I really want, and also I can use them as incentives to get debt free.

Well Im 20 this Monday and Im dreading it - so I suppose that gives me just over a year to do 21 things! better get my thinking cap on!

Im 40, march 2010... I havent worked on a list but i will do !!

Count me in

Wonder if i could do 50 things before im 50 lol

Might be better to do 41 before im 41.. I can work to sameish date as you then mum2one;)

Ok i thought i could add mine here too

1) Get as mobile as i can again, then i can get back down the gym and start reclaiming my life
2) Book a normal package holiday for little 2 ( think benedorm )
3) Visit the Pyramids
4) Visit Jan in Indiana or Florida
5) Make 20 scrapbook pages
6) Sell something i have made on Ebay and put 10 things a month on to sell

Ok I'm going to start my list an just edit and add on as I think of more!

1. Pass my driving test
2. Get down to at least a size 14
3. Get my work comissioned by a magazine
4. Do a wedding job abroad
5. Go to Ibiza
6. Read all of my books sitting in my room!!
7. Have or be looking for a premises for my studio
8. Get a tattoo
9. Have a savings account set up and in use!
10. Create a photo album with all my childhood photos
11. Receive an award for my photography
12. Stop eating chocolate completely
13. Have a clutter free home

I still think I'm 18 then I look in the mirror:( The only 18 I will be is size 18 if I don't give up the sweet stuff.

Oooo this is great stuff, i'm 30 in 2012 years - will probably take me that long to come up with a list too!!
