Hi, I am new to this site and not sure if I should post this here or under IVA but I just wondered if anyone had been successful in relaiming PPI after completion of IVA. It propably sounds a bit cheeky but it seems I was missold PPI on a number of now closed credit cards and egg loan. Anyone think I should go for it, tricky I know. (IVA was completed last month, managed to make a full and final early settlement with family help.)

Its not cheeky :D, if you were mis sold this, then the ppi is yours, go for it, give it a go, look here for more info and reclaim templates:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

Write to them with help from the template letters, you will find on the thread in stages, add your own reasons.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full, another letter maybe required if not successful first time, keep on at them until you exhaust their complaint procedures, they should let you know in the final response, if your not satisfied, that you can take this to the Financial ombudsman service, for this to be investigated. Post all letters by recorded delivery, good luck and post for any help if required.;)X

    Hi there

Firstly ring them and ask for the agreement numbers they should be able to trace you on their database. If they cannot then proceed as below.

If you feel that you have been miss sold then use the SAR template on the front thread re word it to fit your complaint. Send if off to them and they wil send all info they hold on file for you. They have 40 days to respond. Send by recorded delivery.

You will then be able to send the info on to the lender with agreement no's etc following the template on MSE. If you need further help then let us know.

Another thought if you have internet banking you may be able to find out the agreement no's if your paid by DD or SO.

    Good luck
