ridiculous!

 i was made redundant on the 27/02/09 and i find it ridiculous the amount of time you have to spend filling in forms grrrrrrr:mad:

jsa claim - i had to take in about 15 pieces of evidance and complete a 39 page application form:mad:

income insurance - several more forms to complete from different sources, old employer, benefits office etc:mad::mad:

student loan deferment - again more forms,:mad::mad:

council tax benefit - more forms requested of forms they already had from job centre plus!:mad::mad::mad:

nursery voucher scheme - constantly chasing payments to close account :mad::mad::mad::mad:

can anyone answer me a few questions?;-
  • firstly the majority of it asked for is the same why cant they share the info?
  • why does nobody deal with these requests promptly, i had to wait 10 days for my proof of jsa stamp!
  • why cant anybody do it there and then? why do you have to post things off all over the country?
  • why dont people/agencies just pick up the bloomin phone and ask you a question rather than send you a letter wasting even more time?
  • why is it you never speak to a real person on the phone? and why is that the option you want is never on the menu list?
  • why is it that they ask for evidance which you cant provide? e.g new tax credits awards letters which tax credits wont send you?
i really am finding this impossible and whilst i understand the need to ensure authenticity of claims the service is terrible. Every sign on day i visit my job centre plus, happy and bouyant with my application/interview progress only to be treated like dog mess on their shoe! I used to feel sympathy for some of the situations they deal with but no more!

thankyou for reading my rant, i thought i would feel better but no, i dont!

Crikey - it wasnt anything like as bad back in my days on the dole! That sounds a lot like putting a deliberate "obstacle course" in the way hoping one will give up the whole idea at the outset.....

    ....DON'T DO SO.
