jackdoor wrote:Why is this on the 'Freebie' (absolutely no conditions surely?) when a minimum spend is required for this offer?

jackdoor wrote:That's just my point - you do have to spend to get it (read the T&Cs) hence the reason it's not a 'Freebie'. If you live solely off your bundled minutes you won't get anything (which is fair enough really).
I can appreciate people will be thankful for being informed of the offer, so I'm not highly critical overall, but when browsing the 'Freebie (no spend required)' board that's exactly what you should get.
It's not a 'Freebie' it's a 'Bonus' relating to what you've spent to date. Far too many people have lost sight of what 'real' money is these days
Not true, you dont pay to get it, you get it because you paid therfore its free.0 -
jackdoor wrote:I'd be interested in Martin's view on this. Whether you've already spent, or have to spend, is irrelevant - one way or another spending is a requirement and hence it's not a Freebie.
You can kid yourselves if you like, but if you could get your heads around this one greater benefits may follow. It's all little pedantic I agree, but there's fundemental underlying psychology here that addicted spenders need to get to grips with. A Bonus isn't a Freebie :rotfl:
Well until they make an 'unexpected bonus' subforum then I think it's OK to post this here!
- Just to let you all know that o2 'happy hour' is coming from the 31st of March you can send free MMS between 7-8pm (to a max of 60) per month.
Also from now until 31st March if you top up more than you usually top up (ie £20 rather than usual £10) you get 20% back as a reward rather than the normal 10% (ie, £2)!0 -
Cheers KK!
The the majority of freebies on this forum arn't 'free', an initial outlay has to be made, even going on the web to obtain the 'freebies' costs connection charges (unless you conn from local library or work), the 'free' DVD's with newspapers requires an initial outlay...
I think I'll lie down in a darkened room for a while!0
