95p Gallery upgrade a default option! Beware!

In yet another glitch/subtle fee increase conspiracy, people who use the Quick Sell form to list items, may or may not have noticed that the upgrade to an Enhanced Gallery feature is automatically ticked, meaning a 95p insertion fee is charged. Plenty of people have been taking advantage of the free insertion fees for 99p auctions, but this upgrade could easily wipe out any earnings from the sale.
eBay have been made aware of this and it is likely to be changed according a Pink on the ebay forums - http://forums.ebay.co.uk/thread.jspa?threadID=1100231991&start=215
If you have listed anything recently using the Quick Sell form, then check your account balance to see if you have been charged for this feature - http://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbay&CurrentPage=MyeBaySellerAccounts and click the "Credits, payments and refunds applied to latest invoice: Show details" Link.

I have just emailed them this......
Hi I recently listed three or 4 items and was not aware you have made the Gallery plus feature default therefore for these listings I have been charged 95p when I didn’t want to use this feature.
I think it is pretty sneaky to do this when you have made listing free, this was why I listed my clothes as I was unsure I would make anything from them so the free listings made my decision to use eBay for these sales easier. And I didn’t expect a sly move like this from a company that is trying to increase sales.
I feel you should have at least sent an email round to let your sellers know that gallery plus was a default. Which you didn’t.
I feel you should refund these fees as it was not something I made a choice to purchase more something that was forced apon me.

As many people have been receiving their invoices over the last few days, more people have noticed this charge.
