Bit of help needed on the NI board please - they have a thread containing loads of important info [about 1800+ posts]. How can it be copied/stored [other than on MSE] for safe-keeping? Thank you.

You could highlight all of it (I wouldn't fancy that!), right click and copy to put in Word or somethingsimilar.0

Hmm .... thanks, but I know there was a less cumbersome way of doing it.
Like storing it somewhere?0 -

There was more - don't know what happened. The other suggestiongs were to
put a word in a REPLY box and post it and then the whole thing is listed as a post you have responded to in the list under your name. OR, you can highlight the text R click and make a link to file somewhere.0 -
If you subscribe to the thread then it will be stored under your username on MSE so you can easily access it.
To do this, look at the top of the thread, above the first post. You will see "Thread Tools" click on this then click on "subscribe to thread" and click "yes/confirm" on next page.
Then to find the thread again click on "user CP" on the banner under your username at the top, and click on "view all subscribed threads" and the thread will show there.

Bumping this.
I am sure I read somewhere that stuff could be cached - Google? Or am I imagining it?0 -
You could show the printable version, and print each set of pages to a PDF file and keep forever...0

Is it not possible to bookmark that particular thread? If so then you would have no need to copy it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
