Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this and whether it makes any difference?

Depends a bit on what you are selling, but I like 5pm Sunday, the long dark teatime of the soul.0

Look at the time your traget buyer will be online - Sunday evening is definitely the busiest time for viewers, closely follwed by monday, but if you are targetting kids or mums, try weekday mid-mornings for maximum targetting.
If you offer international postage, try to think when the USA will be online - about 5-7 hours behind us - so massive exposure with that timeslot.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
I'm selling a few handbags, so my target buyer is probably female in her 20s/30s. I think Sundays are probably best then.
I don't post to the US so that isn't a problem.0 -
Definately sun night 8-8.30 ish!0

If you have enough of them, try spreading the listings across ending on sunday evening and mid morning/early afternoon weekdays - your target market will have plenty of stay-at-home-mums and "kept ladies" for want of a better phrase!<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0

We never sell anything on a sunday night

Might be because we sell "kids stuff".
The kids who are allowed on ebay will be doing last minute homework, in bed, or otherwise getting ready for the week, and the parents who might buy stuff for them are probably fed up with the kids having had them all weekend
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I read something about this on one of those Get rich ebay sites.
dont end your auction when a soap opera is on
so i guess mondays 7-00 to 8-30 is a bad time
tuesday 7-0 and 8
weds ........you get the drift. Check out the tv schedule and try to avoid the soaps. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
Statistics say that the best time for listings to end is Sunday afternoon/evening or Thursday lunchtime. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

Judging by MOH... it's when corrie / enders or dancing on ice are on.
Your are selling useless gadgets I assume

well i am sahm and i don't have time during the day for ebay. i wait till the kids are in bed so from about 8pm onwards i have a look. i find sunday a nightmare as there is pages and pages of stuff ending in 1 minite. i always shop for things ending because i like to shop then pay. i can't be bothered watching stuff for days mainly because i forget i am watching it.
i buy mainly clothes, bundles for the kids etc. rarely anything else. i gave up on ebay for a while but i am back buying clothes normally about 3 or 4 times a week.
dont' know if this helps
