Since the debacle of 15% interest rates, the sweaty and shameful withdrawal from the ERM and the demise of Thatcherism, also the decline from over three million unemployed, I have prospered with the good stewardship of Labour chancellors.
This government has allowed me to realise standards of living not associated with capitalist bondage.
Many will know from previous postings that I am a farmer and a cash rich landlord,(Lady).
In 1992 I bought 2 semi detached houses in Aberdeen for £91,750 as a cash buyer, today they are selling and very quickly at a little over £200,000,both are on long leases to BP at £1100 PCM.
I also have two holiday properties in an area of oustanding natural beauty which are free from mortgage and very heavily booked until until the beginning of November a real bonus as the season nomally ends in September.
So all is not Gloom, infact I am just back from Java and feeling quite perky and hopefull.

Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind. - Albert Einstein.

Who cares, gloating whether it be true or not will win you no plaudits, either on a forum or in real life, what makes your ramblings even more idiotic is because none of us have the misfortune to know you, we have no idea whether you are Fred Goodwin's chief blowjob giver or you are just a bag lady sitting in an internet cafe in Hackney.
In other words your wasting your time.;)0 -

The germ of your original comment was that, under the present government, you have managed to acquire quite considerable wealth. Worse (from a socialist perspective) you have done so from property speculation. Did you, along with so many members of the Cabinet, by some chance miss the memo advising that unearned income is the product of 'wicked capitalism' and that owning more than one property is tantamount to theft, because it boosts prices and thus deprives the needy?
I think the fashionable phrase is, 'you're 'avin' a larf' .0
