Well, I've just ordered one!! Thanks for the post.

Hopefully the bed size is standard, so that I can buy suitable, cheaper a mattress elsewhere.

If anyone knows any different, please let me know so that I can cancel the order!!

Yeap, cancelled the order and re-ordered using promo code!! Single bed is standard size (according to John Lewis), so should be able to pick one up elsewhere.

just a note for future ref: mattress sizes can be made up in 3inch increments i.e.3ft, 3ft3ins, 3ft6in etc same for length

from your local bed suppliers. I got mine for a stompa bed for a very reasonable £70. So try your local high street first!
