Royal Mail Bills Online - any good

Had an email today about this from Royal Mail - any good?

The only reason to use would be to completely cut out the paper clutter coming through the letterbox.

Did a search of forums for Royal Mail and for Bills Online no results in MSE.

I am really suspicious of the MSE internal search engine!

Already using DD for most purposes so will Bills Online get rid of the paperwork coming through the door? Since turkeys don't opt in for Xmas I doubt it as it would reduce the amount of items RM carries.

Thanx for the crisp clear update, Aark.

What we may be looking for is a service that REPLACES all the paperwork coming thru the letterbox - intersting that Royal Mail has appointed itself as the provider!

From that list, it does look half-baked.

I saw that list and immediately stopped and exited.

Remember Royal Mail....either never deliver or deliver late.

Firstly I would not use the service because the *****s sent me spam advertising it - I always ensure I opt out from marketing.

However I would also be very wary about a service which requires you to aggregate a lot of personal and security information, and which has no particular reason for you to believe it to be well run or competently secured. I would also be very careful that this service does not violate the terms and conditions of your other online services (ie similar sort of stuff to disclosing your PIN or password). I think I would want to get written confirmation from the target accounts that they are happy with the use of the Royal Mail service.

Personally I am far too much of a control freak to even consider the idea of delegating my life to someone else.
