This Board Now Charges Those Who Become Debt Free!

Dear Debt-Free Wannabee Board

I have just noticed a few people starting to declare themselves debt-free on these boards after working through their problems. This of course means they may be tempted to leave - heaven forfend. Thus I plan to impose the following two official charges on anyone who declares themselves debt free

1. The 'How I did it thread'. Anyone who has become debt free must write a description of how they did it including useful tips for others along the way.

2. Anyone who has become debt free must pop into this board on occassion for at least six months afterwards to continue to provide the benefit of their acquired wisdom to others.

Who said this site was free! Ha!

Martin :)

PS I obviously have no way of enforcing this, but failure to comply and you may be cursed with your flies falling undone when you're not looking!

  • Phew! I thought that meant charges a fee - don't do that to me!

I was saying last night I don't know what I'm going to do with myself after April 1st - it's going to be really odd not having the debt to obsess over any more - but I can't now imagine not being on here ... so this is one edict from :money: I will obey without feeling like a miser!

  • This is a great idea Martin. I love it on the phone boards when someone pops back in just to tell the regulars on there that by following their advice and/or suggestions they have cut their telephony bills.

For every user that signs up for the forums there are at least another two who are reading and heeding the advice given on all the boards and its especially nice when those readers sign up just to say thank you and then stick around to pass on their experiences icon7.gif
