First Time Buyer, Gas and Electric
Options
Hi
I'm just looking at buying a place and was looking at some of the comparison sites. As i dont already have a supplier or know how much KwH i'll be using, i cant use them. :@
Does anyone know of a site that i CAN use? Or is there one that is generally considered to be a lot cheaper then the others?
Thanks
Jay

A bargain is only a bargain if you would have brought it anyway!

Just use energy helpline, through their website or via the phone. The comparison will ask what sort of house and how many people live there. It will use this information to give you an average usage for type of user.
One thing you will need to know is who the supplier of gas and electric is. For electric, contact EDF energy. For gas, contact transco (I believe) and they can tell you. They can only post the information to "The Occupier" of the address assuming you've not moved in yet.
Hope this helps0
