Mother’s Day Online Card Prize Draw

1. The prize draw is open to all UK and Republic of Ireland residents aged 16 and over, with the exception of L'Or!al Paris employees, their immediate families or anyone connected with the promotion.
2. No purchase is necessary. Entry to the prize draw is free. Only one entry per person. Entries must be via the official L’Or!al Paris Mothers Day site located at www.everymumisworthit.com ("the Web Site"). Entrants must have internet access to be eligible for the prize draw.
3. Entries to the prize draw must be received on or before the closing date of 31st March 2009 (“Closing Date”). The Promoter reserves the right to revise this date and extend the period for accepting entries to the prize draw. All winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the Closing Date. The email address used will be as entered in the official entry form on the Web Site.
4. To enter the Prize draw, entrants must create and submit an online dedication card via the official entry form located on the Web Site stating why they consider their "mum is worth it". Selected dedications will be displayed on the Web Site and identified by a first name and location only; no further personal details from the entry form will appear on the Web Site.
5. Entries which are considered by the Promoter and the moderating panel at their complete discretion to be inappropriate, offensive, obscene or not in keeping with the spirit of the promotion or which may breach intellectual property rights of a third party (for example exhibiting brand names) may not be uploaded onto the site and may be removed without notice to the entrant. Such entries will not be included in the prize draw. Examples of language considered to be inappropriate, offensive or obscene include (but are not limited to): any message which contains (a) swearing; (b) comments or actions which appear to be discriminatory of any person, company or group of individuals, for example comments of a racist, sexist or homophobic nature; (c) sexual innuendo, sexual language or sexual acts, actions or gestures; (d) promoting any illegal unlawful activity such as drug use; and (e) any message that appears to be an advertisement or solicitation to buy. Entries not in keeping with the spirit of the competition would include (but is not limited to) (a) one word (b) nonsensical (c) irrelevant dedications.
6. Any message reported to the Promoter by third parties for being inappropriate, offensive, obscene or not in the spirit of the promotion will be considered under these terms and conditions, and may be removed without notice to the entrant and not be included in the prize draw.
7. From the online dedication cards completed in accordance with these terms and conditions, 500 winners shall be drawn at random, each to receive a "Mother Daughter Goody Bag" containing: Age Perfect Day (£11.99 / €18.06 RRP), Telescopic Brown Mascara (£8.99 / €14.05 RRP), Colour Riche Star Secrets 706 (£7.99 / €12.04 RRP), Derma Genesis Pore Minimiser Day cream (£14.99 / €24.09 RRP), Demaq Expert Milk Toner (£4.99 / €10.53 RRP), Glam Shine Natural Glow 401 (£6.99 / €10.53 RRP).
8. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Illegal, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost, whether due to technical reasons or otherwise. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
9. Entries cannot be returned and are the property of the Promoter. Copyright and all other rights and interests in each entry will be and are hereby assigned to the Promoter. All winners agree to participate in publicity accompanying or resulting from the Prize draw. No additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities. Entrants waive any performer rights or moral rights under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or cancel the Prize draw at any stage in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control. Neither the Promoter nor agencies involved in this promotion may be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to the Prize draw.
11. The prizes are as stated and there are no alternative prizes or cash substitutes. The Panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the prize is declined, or if the winner forfeits the prize under these terms and conditions, or if the winner fails to provide a response with a valid postal address within 28 days of being informed of winning, then the Promoter and/or the Panel may at their absolute discretion draw an alternative winner.
12. The names of all winners will be available by sending a S.A.E. to L'Or!al Paris, Mother’s Day prize winners, 255 Hammersmith Road, London, W6 8AZ within six (6) weeks of the Closing Date.
13. By entering the prize draw, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions.
14. Entrants must read and accept the website terms and conditions and privacy statement to be eligible.
15. English law applies and the English courts will have jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion
