  • This is priceless. No wonder they've stopped sending me letters; they must be looking at a way to take a step back and provide everything to me that they legally should do - or maybe they're thinking that they should write it off because I'm not rolling over and dying (unlikly, but I can dream)
  • I had problems with 1st Credit some time ago. They threatened me with all sorts including telling me they could make me bankrupt. I also had to ring 'em on a premium rate number.

I reported them to Trading Standards. Looks like they do take notice.

Please report any DCA who engage in this sort of tactic as the OFT are looking at other besides 1st Crudit.

1st Credit used to chase me for someone else's gas bill - someone who had the same first initial and surname as me. They just ignored the fact that he was a guy and I'm not!

Horrible bullies who said they would stop calling if I paid them even after Scottish Gas told them they were happy that the debt had nothing to do with me at all.

    Ouch!

Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

If they could backdate that, 1st Crudit would have a bigger loss than RBOS. :rotfl::rolleyes:

Just going to bump this, even if one OP advised that 1st credit was recently polite on the phone.

I'm sure they would revert to type if not kept an eye on, so the bump is just as well. ;)
