Are There Any Rumours Concerning The Next Cheap Listing Day Please?

Options
I have had a clear out but concerned that some things may not sell. Therefore I wished to list on the next low listing cost day. I just wondered if there are any rumours floating around that suggests how far off this may be please? Thank you

Check previous years as there is often a correlation when these days occur.

    Free listing starts 12th March:

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/sell/private-sellers-pricechange/

Stand by for a glut of worthless clutter, and angry people not realising how much the fees are for items that go for 99p...

As it says above the listing fees are being changed anyway and have been lowered. There's likely to be something around Easter time as the next promotional listing time.

Accepting the point about worthless clutter (of which I have much about to be loaded onto Turbolister for 12 March), this is exactly what eBay need to be doing to bring private sellers back.

At the moment, the overall high fee package for listing anything at 99p does not make it cost effective, leaving the option of not listing at all or starting at a higher price (and paying a higher fee).

This will encourage people to list at no risk, and on the basis of "one mans rubbish being another's treasure" could generate some real finds.

As a occasional seller, I hate the enforced < £1 start, but as a buyer, I love it.

    Roll on 12th March! <Sniper mode on>

does anyone know how much the final fees are changing? I'm trying to decide whether to list now or hold off to the 12th?

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

You sure they will sell for more than 99p then ?

I recon if you expect it to sell for less than £8 then you are better of waiting and paying the higher FVF:

    now: £8 fvf @ 8.75% = 70p + 10p listing fee at 99p start

    march: £8 fvf @ 10% = 80p + 0p listing fee at 99p start
