Interest Rates in Two Years? Any Guesses?

Options
I have £263,000 in a variety of fifty (one thirteen) thousand pound segments which will come due at that time (two years hence that is). Wonder what guesses people hold as to what interest rates might be at that time? Surely the huge debt load will have had to effectively kicked in by then?

'There'll Always Be An England!'

I wonder.

'When falls the Bank of England: England falls.'

Oh, dear.

'Britons NEVER will be slaves' ....

It seems almost laughable e'en now!

  • Base rate will be 6% in 2 years. Mark my words!

CPI - a big part is when VAT is put back to 17.5% -

assuming it happens 1/1/2010 as planned

    Q1 10 2.5%
    Q1 11 2.5%

    if VAT delayed a year

    Q1 10 1.5%
    Q1 11 3.5%

    You're optimistic. I'm expecting 18.5% VAT within 3 years.
