Hi,
Normally pretty good at this sort of thing but struggling to find a good way to get 6 people (some with ski/snowboard gear) to Puy Saint Vincent in france 21/03 - 28/03.
Trying to keep the cost down as much as possible because none of us are flush and a few are students so on tight budgets.
Flying there isn't a problem but because its a obscure resort getting a transfer is proving difficult. The nearest airport is Turin but Geneva and Grenoble aren't to far away. Not getting much change for €500 so far.
Considered renting a car but again because of the size of our group its about £400 plus fuel and tolls.
Driving from the Uk is an option but we'd need to take 2 cars so wouldn't save any money really.
I think i might of exhausted all the options, but does anyone know of any really good rental companies for large cars/MPV's or a good Airport transfer firm. (by good i mean cheap!)
I know its a very specific query but if you don't ask you don't get.
Thanks in advance!

Is going by train an option on your get off the flight,0

I don't know the answer but my source of all things to do with skiing and snowboarding is Snowheads
May be worth setting up an account and posting there.
PS Puy St V isn't an obscure resort just not as well known as Val d'Isere, Les Arcs etc
Cheers i'll do that.
Yeah i only mean obscure because its not a international resort so is a bit difficult to get there without a car0 -

Pleased to see the Snowheads have offered some good advice. Enjoy your trip.

Hi Lemonade Pockets,
I'd like to hear your thoughts on Puy when you get back if you get time to post them. I've been the Alpe d'Huez and Les 2 Alpes but not ventured round to Puy yet.0 -
No worries. We've got a pass which allows to ski in 6 resorts i think so ill let u know about Puy and hopefully a few others.0

Give these people a try, if they cannot find you the best deal by train I don't know anyone who can.
