Cleaning my toilet pan

Options
the bottom of our toilet pan is always dirty - I think it's limescale as it wont clean up with the brush :(

Any products I can throw down there to shift it all? Thanks.

Cola is good for dirty toilets, get rid of as much water as you can, then tip a bottle down, leave for 30 mins or so, then give a rub and a flush!!! vinegar and bicarb are another excellent way of cleaning stuburn stains!!!!

Yes, if you can leave either cola, or vinegar in it over night you'll find that just a light going over with the brush the next morning will finish things off.

I would be careful about using cola products in your toilet. They do work but they have colourings in them that will eventually stain your loo if you use them regularly

    I find malt vinegar good.
The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T
  • I know its not much help at the moment, but I'm finding the ecover toilet cleaner is really good. We also have a water softener and it saves us buying a new shower every year amongst other problems, as we are in a very hard water area.
