  • Hi Claire,

I am dubious about this one. Both myself and my husband applied - me for adminsitration work, my husband for driver work. We both got back exactly the same emails. They ask for £40 to do reference checks on you with another company. I could find no information about this other company on the net. They say you get it back once you start working!!

Doing research on Nettemp, I came across this comment from someone:
Took a look at their site and it looks sloppy, also the telephone number stated which is a mobile is sometimes a clear sign of a scam site, checked their email which is a deliverable address, however when i ran an address check from the details provided on their site listing their address as,
Crusader House, 145-157 St. John Street London EC1V 4PY
These are "all" the businesses located at that address,
    123 Internet Designs Ltd‎
    Companies Made Simple‎
    Company Searches Made Simple‎
    Data Recovery Lab‎
    Discover And Invest‎
    Efficio Ltd‎
    Elemental Communications Ltd‎
    Fortis Education‎
    Hang-Up Pictures‎
    Intexim Limited‎
    ITvet Limited‎
    London Presence‎
    Luxury 2 Watch Ltd‎
    OxyUK Technologies Limited‎
    Premier Holidays‎
    Prospect Consulting UK Ltd‎ - 1 review
    RevaHealth.com‎
    Techno Consultancy (UK) Limited‎
    VIP Chaperones‎
    Whizlogic Solutions‎
and as you can see there is no nettemp.

We are not pursuing with them, certainly not sending £40 each to them.

    Yes.

Please let us know what happens, but don't be surprised if warning others that it is a scam is the only thing you get out of it.

Sorry to be so blunt, but I see no point in giving you false hope, or trying to cushion the blow. I think you've lost your money, and there's no good way to say that.

If you visit the site, and click the "access our database" button, under "Find Staff", and follow the links until you get to enter your postcode you will find that no matter what you enter it comes up with

"Thank you, based on you search criteria we will be able to supply you with your staff requirements, to avail of our services please complete the registration form below."

Even if you type "this is a scam" as your post code!

The form doesn't check their database to see if they have staff in your area, it just tells you they have. A sure sign of a scam.

I bet if you were to continue it would ask you for money before putting you in touch with the staff they have who live in the post code area "this is a scam"!
  • Sounds fantastic !!! but they want money, this the email we received
never heard of PSP services and more to the point can not find them
on the web. I feel sorry for any one who has sent money because if you read carefully it states refererance number is on the back of all payments.
If it sounds too good to be true then maybe it is, Hope this helps some one.

In order to proceed with the offer you will need to have a current address verification and background check. We will use another company to do this(PSP Services) and there will be a cost involved, however as soon as you begin working this cost will be refunded by us in full. We will use the details that you have supplied to us on your application. You will need make a cheque or postal order for £39.95 payable to PSP Services, please then send this to Nettemp/PSP Services, 145-157 St John Street, London, EC1V 4PY, please remember to make sure that your reference number (top of page) is on the back of all payments, this needs to be in place so that we can get you working as soon as possible and to avoid any delays. Once the checks have taken place we can then make you active and work can begin. Please Note. Once you begin work we will refund the costs incurred for the background checks. These checks are essential and are carried out for obvious reasons however they are also for our customers benefit who are safe in the knowledge that their high value goods are been looked after by a responsible, accountable known quantity which ultimately leads to repeat business, which of course is absolutely essential.
To recap, positions of a Van Driver are currently available in the areas and times that you specified on your application at the rate of £11.50 per hour and time and a half after 8 hours, the position is available immediately. If you wish to accept please let us know as soon as possible.

  • this is a scam dont send money its aimed at the unemployed and stinks
  • It might be worth a visit to

seems to me it explains a great deal about nettemps address as they are in the same building. First line of thisisyouroffice goes:-

Impress your customers with your own central London office address. Choose from our EC1 or W1 London office addresses. You can then collect your mail from our office, receive it by post or even have it scanned and e-mailed to you.

Not bad for a starting fee of £15.00/month in EC1 or £20.00/m for W1.
No telling where your reply end up!!!!!

I wish people would use common sense at times.Van driving is on average £6-£7 an hour and you would get a good idea of this looking at van driving jobs in newspapers or on the internet. If you have sent your money then you will never see it again.
