You don't say what time. I can get it for £10.60 departing Nottingham at 13.28 and London at 13.15

If the £25 you found are advance fares you want to book through www.eastmidlandstrains.co.uk which will give you a little bit of a discount on the advance fares.
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place

If you are prepared to sacrifice flexibility, there are advance singles from £5:95 each way, leaving Nottingham at 12:28 or 13:28 and returning from London at 13:15. You would have to travel on those specific trains.

    Snap !!

ideally leaving nottingham early and then leaving london about 4pm as its sight seeing with my under 5yr old

should add im after direct trains only as its just so much easier with a little one!

    National express website:

April 17th leaving Nottingham at 10.28am arriving in London St Pancras at 12.12pm = £11.20 (if you want to go earlier it's £13.20)
April 18th leaving London St Pancras at 16.15pm arriving Nottingham at 17.59pm = £11.20
  • i think the return one is the one i booked in the end but the one going out left 8 somethingto make the most of the day
