Petrol prices increasing

I have noticed in my twice weekly digest from Petrolprices.com that since the beginning of January petrol has increased by 3p from 82.9 to 85.8. I know that duty was increased in the last budget but with the 2p drop in VAT I believed that this would have no effect for the moment.
Have oil prices started rising again or is this just the market correcting itself?

You mean you don't read the Financial Times to keep abreast of all the commodity prices...lol

Seriously Oil prices are up and the £ is down. However with Gaza hopefully sorting itself out we will maybe see prices ease a bit )but OPEC is lowering production). Having said all that if I knew what was going to happen I would be a succesful trader living in the Bahamas!
