Can anyone recommend a good free file transfer service please?
I have tried https://www.yousendit.com but have found it to be unreliable with large files and also I don't like the lack of a progress bar.
https://www.sendthisfile.com I find to be more reliable but after you have sent a couple of files the upload speed gets set to "slow" and it is, very.
Are there any others I should try?

Large files !! how large ?
Does your IP give you web space ?
If so what size ?
If the IP does provide a larger space than the size of your files, you can upload the file(s) to your site, and then tell the recipients the name of the file and the download it.
eg
upload file called fred.ext
tell people to goto https://www.yoursite.ip.com/fred.ext
the will then be asked what to do with the file, so they just save it.0 -
