Not sure what you mean by the Bank of Scotland bit.. it isn't seperately licensed from Halifax now/prior to the Lloyds takeover. And Lloyds has only 2 deposit taking brands (C&G) which are under the same licence. They announced that when Lloyds banking group is formed, Lloyds will retain its 5 authorisations, and the Bank of Scotland authorisation will also be kept0 -
HBOS businesses all work under the BoS Banking license.
Lloyds have 5:
Lloyds TSB
Lloyds TSB Scotland
Scottish Widows
Private banking
AMC bank0 -

Doesn't have C&G then?
What are the implications for Lloyds depositors guarantees then?0 -
That is what I said.C&G are under the Lloyds TSB license, so 50k cover for money in C&G and Lloyds TSB combined
Do you get £50k depositor protection (which what was being talked about) in each of 5 you listed? Or maybe they don't all take deposits...0
