I've just come back from my local Wilkinsons where all last years seed stock are now 75% off.
I bought 11 packets of seeds (9 veg and 2 flowers) for just £2.22, the sow by dates are up to 2011.
You may find the packets near the gardening section but in plastic storage boxes on a trolley;) , that's where I found them, the trolley had the red 75% off stickers all over it.

I was visiting shrewsbury today , and bought six packets of vegetable seeds for £2 .
The store was called The Works ,and generally sells discounted books !!
Im not sure if any other branches have this offer ,but there were loads of different veg seeds to choose from ,as well as flower seeds at three packs for £1 .0 -
Ooo, perhaps time to drag-I mean take-the children to the shops tomorrow for some bargains. I know my eldest enjoys trying to grow flowers and I should try and do more veggies for us.0

I am jealous as my local store - Southend never seem to have any of the bargains left! But will try there tomorrow for the reduced price seeds and to see if they have any seed potatoes in yet.0

Yes they had them in my local store including large packets of beans/peas/french beans 3 for a pound. (£2.79 on the packets)0 -
Been in to check my local store an they have all the new season stuff up at much higher prices. However, I got some good bargains last autumn.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

thanks for this, I had a look today and got 5 packs for £1.15, cucmbers, chillies, runner beans and some flowers too, was tempted to go mad but only have limited room to grow the stuff!0

I'm sorry if I sound like a moaning old biddy - but I found Wilkinsons seeds to be a bit rubbish. Poor germination etc.
Lidl, on the other hand at 29p each have always been rather good!
