Just had this in this morning's post. The regular Credit card cheques along with the offer of 0% Balance Transfer until July2009 with no fee......
Think it will be time for a bit of shifting round......
Normal rules apply - not to be used within RBS group cards etc etc

Interesting, also had same letter but with 3% fee.
Was this cheques with no fee, or specifically a BT with no fee ?
The RodentMy posts are my opinion which is neither right nor wrong.0 -
I got 1.9% offer with 3% fee, balance been at £0 for about six months now.
Called to cancel yesterday, awaiting callback from Customer Services, hopefully
get them to waive the fee.0 -
In the letter - it says three ways to do it.....
1 - by phone
2 - fill in one of the cheques
3 - do it online quoting code xyz
At the bottom of the letter - there's a PS saying you can use the cheques to pay tradespeople etc.....
Again it says on the letter
0% until July 2009 and no fee.........What should I put in here that won't upset people.........0 -
I got one too, and a 6.95% for life cheque on my halifax card, time for some shifting then!0

First Post! I've had a Mint card for years but had zero balance. Had an offer in post last year for 0% on purchases for 6 months, all I needed to do was use the card - so I did by booking flights, hotel, car hire etc. They then charged interest from day one, said they'd never heard of the offer when I phoned so I faxed them a copy. It still took 3 months to sort out. Total nightmare, massive cost in phone calls, time and I tore almost all my hair out.
Just thought I'd mention it!0
