What's the deal?
ASDA is offering a mens' suit for under £19.
For a bargainous £18.60 you get a single breasted jacket with three buttons and back vent, plus a pair of trousers, which normally cost £5.90, free. Plus the whole suit is machine washable and can be tumble dryed.
The jacket and trousers are available in long, short and regular lengths.
Link to the suit: £19 Suit.
It's available to buy from the Asda website but if you do buy online you'll need to pay an extra £3.95 for delivery.

Add them both to your shopping basket and it will automatically deduct the price of the trousers.
For anyone who can't be bothered to check for themselves, on the main page of Mens clothing, it says there that if you buy the jacket, you get the mens trousers for free.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
A bargain of mammouth proportions. Question is, should I pay the £22.55 (Jacket, Trousers & P&P) to my Mastercard or purchase this suit, in anticipation of needing a suit next year (which will probably cost me more than £22.55)....
No-Brainer.... Suit Purchased.... Yeah !!!0 -
Really great buy but it is 100% polyester. I have just bought a 100% wool suit from Burtons' online sale for less than £40 - reduced from well over £100. They have quite a few sizes left too, and not bad styling by the look of it. Don't forget to sign up for the newsletter to get an extra 10% off.0

thanks OP. and the poster above who recommended burton.
ive just bought the asda suit for £25.55 including delivery.
and i also bought a burton suit
jacket was 90 down to 30
trousers were 40 down to 20
these are items that i needed for my new job starting mid jan so it's a money saving purchase as opposed to buying a bargain for the sake of it.
Ps for the burton purchase the newsletter gives you 10% off and quidco gives you free delivery (as well as the quidco cashback).Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Can you point me to the 10% off in the newsletter please?0

Bottom left-hand corner of the burton home page. Once you punch in your name and your email address you don't have to do anything else, as you'll find when you go to check out that the 10% code is automatically included.
I've just had £4.50 tracked on quidco too.
the asda quidco tracked at £0.00 though.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
We saw the Asda £19 suit just the other day in there.
Its has the feel of the Polyester suits we used to get back in the 70's.
It's ever so, very slightly shiny. If the light catches it right under the bright Asda lights it looks like micro sparkles!
That description sound terrible!
It's not that bad though for a cheap smart look.
As was said originally, an interview suit for those who don't normally wear one, it's fine.
For those of you who have a 'real' suit....stick to that!** Freebies and money saved with the help of you all? - Don't know ....lost count! **** Stay Safe **0 -
Wow thats such a good Bargain I bought one of each (Asda and burtons) !!0
