I have no secuirty.. have a belkin wireless router.. but haven't a clue how to encrypt it.. I guessed last time and locked myself out of the connection!! Anyone got any handy tips??Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

I think there is either 64k or 128k mine is just a password which then gives you a (something starting with p) you then use this to connect to your laptop or any other wireless pc.
As said mine was very easy to set up (linksys) but had awful time with a D-link version.0 -

192.168.1.1 is the default for a lot of routers, but not all.0 -
using WEP also means the network could take a big speed hit in some cases.0
