My mum has a piece of mail this morning.
It said they have a digital camera ready for her if she phones a certain number.
The small print says;
We can advise that calls are charged at £1.50 per minute from BT Landline,through mobile call costs may vary.Calls should last no more than 5 mins 50 secs.This is a recorded service where you will be asked to confirm your details and the entire call will need to be completed in order to obtain the item listed above.Please take note of our address in case you wish to contact us with any queries.N.B Packages not claimed within 14 days will be returned to stock.18 and above only.
I work for Royal mail and people could think they were a 739 form where they have to go and collect their parcels.
These digital cameras are probably those little ones which need a small AA battery and only works once!!!!
Nearly £9 for a digital camera.
The firm is called PARCEL DELIVERY SERVICES

These scams have unfortunately being going on for years. Trading Standrads keep trying to close them down only they some how get round the law. The last scam was soem cheapo radios.
I never had one myself, and never for one minute except there such a thing as a free lunch.0
