Default Buy one get TWO free on Pepsi & Pringles

Post written 17 November

What’s the deal?

Until Sunday 23 November Morrisons is offering Buy One Get TWO Free on both 2-litre bottles of Pepsi and Party Size tubes of Pringles. So you'll pay £1.99 for 3 tubes of pringles and £1.45 for 3 bottles of pepsi.

What makes this so good?

While BOGOF (buy one get one free) and buy 2 get 1 free are common, this is a very powerful deal - effectively cutting the cost by 66%.

More importantly both have long best before dates well into 2009 and in some cases 2010, so it’s definitely worth stocking up if you have the room! Plus of course, as explained in the Cheap Supermarket Shopping guide, it's still perfectly safe to consume even after the best before date.

What you need to do

Buy any 2-litre bottle of Pepsi or 7-up for £1.45 and you can get another two free – that’s less than 50p a bottle!

The Pringles offer works the same but applies to the 208g Party Size tubes (not the standard ones), priced at £1.99.

You can buy a maximum of 2 deals per transaction (i.e. 6 bottles and 6 tubes)

Make it an even better deal

Don’t forget that if you are shopping at Morrisons over the Christmas period, you can also get £20 off your Christmas Shop by collecting 4 separate receipts for £40 or more over the next few weeks. Check the link for full details, but combining these offers will make this even better value!

Enter e-mail to get it:

Default Morrisons Xmas Offers

As most are probably aware, morrisons xmas offers start tomorrow, i thought i would make a thread where anybody can post what they find, here`s mine for starters:

1) Pepsi/Pepsi Diet/Pepsi Max/7up/7up Light 2litre bottles are £1.45 and Buy 1 Get 2 Free

2) Pringles Party Size Tubes are £1.99 and Buy 1 Get 2 Free

Both these offers are only on till sunday 23/11/08, when they both will revert to a offer of £1 from monday 24/11/08

With both these offers you are allowed a maximum of 2 deals per transaction, i.e 6 bottles and 6 tubes

I will keep posting other offers as i come across them.

HTH Dave

EDIT: Mods can you please leave this thread here, i kmow some of the offers wont be grabbits, but it will make it easier for people to see the offers in 1 thread, rather than have 20 odd blocking up the forum.

Since old Sir Ken left the helm it seems like Morrisons have well and truly entered the 21st century with their alcohol offers (I'm sure I read somewhere that Ken wasn't keen on alcohol loss leaders).

Aldi do their own version of Baileys (17%ABV made with whiskey not cheap wine like some other cheap versions) for £4.99 for a 700ml bottle, I bought a bottle the other weekend it is pretty much the same (without doing a blind taste taste I couldn't be sure though).

Bailey's is always on offer at Christmas, lol!

Yes, looks like we are going to get Baileys Wars(TM) again this Xmas. IIRC, it eventually went down to £8 for a litre (Sainsburys?). Hang fire, people...

and there's always someone who thinks the limits don't apply to them. Just come out of Morrison in Bristol and was held up at the checkout for 10 minutes because some woman wanted 12 bottles of Pepsi and thought that standing and shouting at the checkout girl was the best way of getting what she wanted !!

But that will be made with wine and be a lower % alcohol, ie it's inferior which is why it is cheaper.
