Do you know if the kung fu panda and lego indy games come in separate boxes? It looks like they do in the pic online, but that doesn't mean they do.
A couple of days ago I ordered the deal where you can get those two games bundled in one box for 12.99, so if I bought this xbox, I'd like to trade or sell the games that come with it (we don't even have an xbox yet, but I bought the games anyway because hubby is sure that's what he wants for christmas and the bundle was such a good deal. Doh!).0 -

I think the 2 games will be in a bundle and therfore have a lesser trade in value.
But i would have thought you would get more than £12.99 for them ?0 -

I wish I knew, but I've never traded in a game. Never even played games until the last week when we dug out hubby's old ps2, lol. People over on hotukdeals last night were talking as though bundled games have no trade-in value, though someone recently wrote that some stores will trade in bundled games, so it sounds a bit uncertain if and where you can trade them. And I'd bet ebay is about to be flooded with bundles of these two games, so we probably couldn't get much there.
I'm just trying to weigh the deals out, as Blockbuster has a very good deal on now too in-store -- same price as this, and you get two "grown-up" games (dead space and fifa), one of which my hubby mildly wants, and the other we could easily trade. We really wouldn't want any of the argos games as the main two duplicate what I bought already, but we'd get an extra controller (that we probably don't need) and a 10-quid voucher. And Argos is closer to us, which is good as we don't have a car (and we know from past experience they are good about taking back items if there's a defect -- don't know how blockbuster is). Decisions, decisions! lol0 -

skibster - It might not apply to you, but if the xbox is anything like the wii you might find that you want a 2nd controller quite soon. A lot of the games are now designed for 2 or more players. It just depends how likely you are to want to play the games with your hubby.0

That's a good point. I really didn't think we'd need two controllers, as hubby likes action/shooting games, and I really am not much of a gamer and just want calmer fare (the lego indy and kung fu panda are for me, lol). But hubby said he might play lego indy, and after your post I looked it up and apparently two people can play that together. A second controller might come in handy once in awhile after all. Thanks for the suggestion.0 -

This is console number 2 in my house  had to buy one for my son as bf always hogs it. If your hubby likes playing shooting games like call of duty ect i would say keep the spare my bf keeps braking them and £25 is a lot to replace it. I would also say keep an eye out for cheap headsets if they are going to play online because we have gone through 4 in just under a year so decided to invest in a wireless oneBaby Due Date 30/01/ 2013
