tried to search for this but couldn't find it. if you buy kinder sweets (kinder eggs & the like) you get codes that you can enter on their website to get a voucher for a free swim for children. you get different numbers of free swims depending on the product you buy. the vouchers are valid til jan 31st. might be worth it depending on the cost of a swim at whatever pool nearest you is participating (follow link & go to terms & conditions for a full list) & how much your kids like kinder eggs! (you have to keep the code from the packaging as proof of purchase until you've finished using all the vouchers the code entitled you to).

A great deal so you can get your kids to burn off all that chocolate they've been eating! One voucher entitles one child aged 15 years and under to swim. You need to take the empty wrapper with you each time you use a voucher.
See the terms and conditions on the site for a full list of participating sport centers.

At the time I posted this regarding this offer:
I thought this was a great offer - bought 14 hippo packs - 7 x 2 on BOGOF at Tescos. Printed off the voucher today, looking forward to a free swim with my child, phoned up the nearest pool, the Le Club, Copthorne Hotel, Cardiff. I was told we could go swimming anytime, brill I thought, how much for one adult, they replied ................ £12.50 !!! I nearly choked on my coffee. Apparently, I cannot purchase a one hour swim slot, I have to pay for an adults day's pass to their club. Which means for me it would be more costly than the local leisure centre !! I phoned the helpline and complained, they said each swimming pool are free to set their own charges. I wrote a letter of complaint but Kinder advised that the pools are free to charge whatever rate they wish.
Lesson learnt, before you get your kinders check how much the adult swim will cost you if you will be swimming too, my children are too little to go in on their own - but I think £12.50 for one hour for me is criminal !!
It goes without saying that some pools may be reasonably priced in which case this is a good offer but unfortunately mine wasn't.

Our local Leisure Centre gives free swims for children under 18 all the time without them having to ruin their teeth with chocolate, and has done for ages.0

Of course, if you don't know where it is you won't be able to go - this is at Stranraer Leisure Centre.
PS The cafe is great too0 -
Have been trying to find original thread on this but can't.
Has anyone done this and are there any drawbacks - Do you just buy the egg then go swimming??
Thanks all

Poundland had some Multi-Packs of Kinda products with this promotion last time I was in there (about a week ago).0

I bought the packs - phoned up my nearest swimming pool and the cost for myself to go with my child swimming was £12.50 !!. Therefore, for myself it was cheaper to go to the local swimming pool. £12.50 because I had to purchase a day pass to their leisure club. Therefore, not cost effective for me.
