Hi, that's posted here, I'll ask for a merge :)
• Grow Your Own are running a competition to win a kitchen garden cloche here
Details from their website

If you have a crop-packed plot to protect from the chilly weather, the attractive Haxnicks kitchen garden cloche will help you to shelter plenty of plants. With a height of 35cm, width of 45cm and 1m length, it can be used to cover semihardy herbs and vegetables ranging from parsley to overwintering lettuce. And during warmer times of year the cloche can protect tender seedlings, give veg underneath a temperature boost and will even offer the plants inside some defence against pests.

The flat-packed cloche is made from highquality UV-resistant plastic over a galvanised steel frame and can be slotted together within minutes. Ventilation won’t pose a problem either – the side-vents can be adjusted to let air get to your growing plants, cutting the possible risk of fungal diseases which can fester in a warm, still environment.

A Haxnicks kitchen garden cloche costs £36.99 - to order call 0845 241 1555 or go to haxnicks.co.uk.

Details here
· Winter is the time to get your plot in shape for next year's sowings and plantings. Peter O'Brien's individually-crafted 'broadforks' offer an easy way to break up compacted soil and give your plot a boost. All forks come with a choice of four or five prongs (also called tines) each with a length of 25cm. These penetrate the top layer of earth, breaking through the ground to improve aeration and drainage while readying the soil for extensive root growth. And, as the broadfork doesn't turn earth over, your nutrient-rich topsoil will remain at the surface instead of being mixed with the poorer ground below.
· To use, hold the broadfork’s handles vertically with the tines pointed towards yourself. Press the head into the soil by placing a foot firmly onto the crossbar. Step off the bar and pull the handles back towards yourself at a 35–40 degree angle before repeating the process again.
· A four-tine broadfork costs £72 and the five-tine version comes in at £76. To order call 01243 512 325 or go to broadfork.co.uk.
Winners will be contacted and asked to choose either a four- or five-tine fork. Entrants must be living in the UK.
