Peter O'Brien's individually-crafted 'broadforks' offer an easy way to break up compacted soil and give your plot a boost. All forks come with a choice of four or five prongs (also called tines) each with a length of 25cm. These penetrate the top layer of earth, breaking through the ground to improve aeration and drainage while readying the soil for extensive root growth. And, as the broadfork doesn't turn earth over, your nutrient-rich topsoil will remain at the surface instead of being mixed with the poorer ground below. [/FONT]
