Anyone know if it is possible to get a replacement locking nut, and if there is a code to order up a replacement from anywhere?

    Yes.

I got a replacement from my local Ford dealer. They tried a few they had in stock till they found the correct one and ordered me one which was there same day. I think it was about £20 or so.

Thats good - so the local friendly dealer should be able to help. Somoene I sold a car to (with the bolt) has lost it!

  • Hi there,

I bought a Ford a few years ago and that had the lock nut adaptor missing, so hammered on a 17mm socket to each nut and untightened them with a ratchet. Cost me less than a tenner to get new ones off ebay, hope this helps
