Feedback Revision now in action

I've just seen my first "Revised feedback" where the buyer has changed their previous negative or neutral to a positive.

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=fatcat0292&ftab=FeedbackLeftForOthers

From what I understand, this was a difficult buyer, and possibly a kid using their parents account, but the seller has left a "false positive" which has only bumped the score up further.

Looking at this again, the buyer left a neutral for some Lego arriving "broken up" - isn't that the point of Lego?!

classic, made me laugh. just build it for them.!! Then explain how you did it, how to take it in bits and then rebuild. honestly you are really not fullfilling your obligations as a seller. Take it round to their house show them how to use it and still get a neg! :rotfl:

Just found out about Feedback Revision.

    Requesting Feedback Revision
    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/feedback/revision-request.html

Changes on ebay mean you have 60 days to raise a dispute, but you also have 60 days to leave feedback (used to be 90 days).

So if you raise a dispute towards end of 60 day period, you may unknowingly miss opportunity to leave feedback or have to decide to leave feedback (possibly Neg or Neutral) before 60 day deadline when dispute is still not resolved.

You can leave Neutral/Negative feedback at end of 60 day period, while dispute is being resolved.
When dispute is resolved Seller can use Feedback Revision to ask buyer to revise feedback.

    I am using this process.

Raised a dispute towards end of 60 day period.
Not expecting big problem with seller, returned item for replacement, but seller says they are waiting for delivery.

Negged seller on last day of 60 day feedback period, told seller about Feedback Revision, that I would revise feedback once things are sorted.

Seller has sent replacement, requested Feedback Revision, so should be able to leave correct feedback after 60 days.
