We have a limited number of PowerDowns to give away (RRP £12) so call 0800 953 0033, quoting reference M01W now.
This offer is courtesy of eaga and their energy supplier partners, as part of their commitment towards improving domestic energy efficiency in the UK.
• The PowerDown is a unique product that automatically switches off devices linked to your desktop computer, such as printers and scanners. So you only need to remember to switch off the computer.
• Helps to protect your equipment from power surges and voltage spikes
• It takes seconds for you to install – just plug it directly into a wall socket and then plug your computer and other devices into the PowerDown.
To receive your FREE ENERGY SAVING PLUG call 0800 953 0033 quoting reference M01W
Any information you provide will only be used in activities relating to this offer and to comply with Ofgem regulations. Your details will not be passed on to any 3rd parties. Only one PowerDown per household, during the period of 1st Jan 2008 to 31st March 2011. Please allow 42 days for delivery, offer is available to mainland GB residents and is strictly subject to availability.
This is thanks to my good friends, disabled cousin! Although on motability website no mention that is is aimed purely for those with needs! However they seem to aim this at people on some type on benefits ie; disability allowance, income support, child tax credit, pension credit etc!! Still worth a FREE call to see if you are eligable:j

This is brilliant - thanks. Just rang - the call lasted about 20 secs. - they asked for postcode, checked address, asked for name and if over 70 (I said no!), they said plug will be with you in about 40 days - no hard sell, no other questions, didn't even ask how I found out about offer - v. easy + not scarey like some phone ones. Ta . v. much!0

thanks , i take it this plug would switch off my amplified speakers0

Please be sensible about applying for this. Given the website it's on, I suspect it's intended for people who are on certain (mobility-related) benefits.0
-
Just rang thanks op, I was asked which benefits I claim
said child tax credit (which I do) and she said your orders placed.

No probs Happy Shopper!:)
Pip26, I shouldn't worry I also wasn't asked which benefits etc, although I do receive tax credits (don't know if that counts?). However I worked for BG up until last year in one of the larger call centres and we were giving free carbon monoxide detectors but we could be selective so to speak (as to whom to offer them to), so maybe they are working on that basis and calls will vary!
I have now altered my OP so at least everyone will know the score now0 -
Don't want people to miss this offer, it will save you pennies on electricity and its a freephone call!!0
