For all thos who have pciked up a bargain TT ONE!...
I have noticed that there is a slight click at the start of each spoken direction...
Could someone be kind enough to do a quick test on their Tom Tom ONE for me please....
Go to the volume change setting and take the volume down low - then see when you press the test button if you hear the speaker click in at the start....
I'm not suure if this is normal or if I have a faulty speaker!...

Paxy, I have tried this and agree that there is a slight click at very low volume.
At 70% which seems to be the factory reset volume level and how I have been using it, I had not noticed this click before.
It does not worry me, and I am v. happy with the TT ONE because it works well in my Peugeot 307 SW with its athermic windscreen. Earlier TT units like the GO 300 would not pick up the satelite signals in this car. I have heard of similar problems with some of the other satnav manufacturers.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
