Tiscali Talk Blocking 1280 ?.

Looks like Tiscali Talk are blocking or are going to block 1280 etc .

Tiscali have had that badly proof-read gibberish in their t&c for some time. It's incoherent with 3.16, which mentions only CPS (always over-ridable), and LLU (not possible for people who are still paying BT Retail for use of the Openreach line). As far as I can see, Tiscali are not yet mentioning BT Wholesale's new evil 'Wholesale Calls Line Independent' product.
Meanwhile it is interesting to see that Tiscali are offering broadband only for £15 a month. But if you allow them to put CPS on your line, they will charge only £13 a month, and throw in weekend calls to 01 02 03 and some useful weekend international calls.

In other words (a) providing these weekend calls costs them almost nothing; and (b) they are so confident of making huge profits on other calls, if they can con you into leaving all your calls to be routed via Tiscali, that they charge you less for a bundle including telephone calls than they do for broadband only.This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
