Does a list of these exist anywhere?

If not can we make one?

Warwick-Wigley Worm, Brook Street

I will update this post as more around the country are added.

I only ask as the local NCT sale is too irregular for me and pregnant parents could benefit from the information.

So post your local nearly new shop below...address and website would be great.

This one is absolutely awesome. Bought a breast pump there for 50 pence and newborn hand knitted cardigans for 50 pence a pop. They always have loads of stuff and get new stuff in all the time

  • In Warwick we have one called Wigley Worm. It is in Brook Street. I don't know whether they buy as well as sell but I would assume so.

They don't have a website and I don't know the address more specifically than this I'm afraid. However if you look for "Brook Street Warwick" in google maps or on a street map it would be easy to find.

having done a boot sale recently, i'd recommend having a potter about them (assuming the time of year fits!) - i have no kids and therefore wasn't selling any baby things but the people that did have toys and clothes for kids were very very busy!

I am sorry because I realise that my post is not strictly relevant to this thread but if anybody knows of anywhere that will take nearly new baby goods within the Greater Glasgow and Argyle and Clyde area would you please let me know because my sister has crates full of items for a new baby and is desperate to rehouse them. None of them are expensive by any means but she has mountains of clothing which have barely/never been worn and such like and will have a lot more in the future and has absolutely no idea of what to do with it. Any suggestions at all would be gratefully appreciated before I find myself evicted to make way for the surplus baby items. :o

There is aways the option of putting an advert in the local newsagents as most new mums (specially) those on maternity leave will look at them and will also know someone with an olderbaby at Toddler group.

I do not think that she actually wants to make any money from them though thank you for the suggestion. :D Due to her work she seems to be painfully aware of just how fortunate she and the baby are to have what they have and to never actually have to worry about it and I know that she for some reason feels guilty about it and because of this that she would never ever accept any payment.

  • What about freecycle? There are always people on freecycle who could give a good home to baby goods.
