AMAZON - half price pro merchant offer closes TODAY sell more than 17 books CDs DVs?

The Amazon Pro Merchant subscription is an upgrade from a basic sellers account to give you reduced fees, they waive the 86 pence closing fee on each item sold.

The monthly fee for this upgrade is normally £28.75 but the current offer is for half price subscription for your first 3 months, this closes today, 30 November.

The advantages are - if you can sell more than 17 items in a month you start to save on your fees, the subscription is £14.37 so you need to sell 17 things to save £14.62, from then you are in profit, anything sold after that puts 86 pence in your pocket that you wouldn't have had without the subscription. A further advantage is that your items are listed for 3 years or till sold so you don't have to remember to relist plus there is a phone line set up for support if needed.

You don't have to do anything to your existing listings, as soon as you fill in the form (it's nothing at all, you are just clicking to say that you understand that you are paying a fee basically) anything you sell is then free of the 86 pence closing fee.

You can cancel at anytime and the fees will be taken out of your earnings on a monthly basis.

I think that it might be worth having a go just for the one month and give your listings a push to sell by reducing the price a little or beefing up your descriptions to make your listing sound better than the others by offering inducements like promising 1st class post or same day dispatch etc.
