I just read this on the Barclaycard website
Taken from http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/xlleisuregroup/
They are infact refunding people who can prove they had a booking with XL and paid with it using their Barclaycard and after a phone call the Advisor was telling me about Section 75 of the Consumer credit act!
Good Job Barclaycard!

XL Leisure Group announced on 12th September 2008 that it has gone into administration.
If you have purchased your holiday through a tour operator, you should contact them in the first instance. Or visit www.atol.org.uk.
If you have purchased a flight directly with XL Leisure using your credit card, you may be able to claim a refund. We are asking Barclaycard customers to print off this claim form below and provide us with as much evidence as possible with your booking including tickets if available. We will then assess claims, and if valid, issue customers with a refund to your card.
