Thinking about changing my car and seen one of these for sale. Anyone owned one or had one?
A big drawback for me is I do 80miles to work and back a day do the fuel consumption needs to be 40+ (I currently have a BMW 320d tourer which I get 47mpg average)
But it would be an ideal fishing wagon.
opinions would be appreciated.
Pete.

My father has one of these, he gets about 34mpg. It's a lovely vehicle to be in and feel suitably "premium" inside too. I don't think even in a manual one you'd break 40mpg though. If you can cope with the fuel cost (and it won't be huge compared to depreciation, even if it is more obvious) then by all means get one. Drive the deal have some excellent prices right now - £6k off list in some instances and that buys a heck of a lot of diesel.
