wireless light HELP

i have a laptop with a wireless switch on it and wen i got it and the wireless was switvhed on it used to light up but now it doesn't light up . . . HELP

  if its like my compaq the light is also a button is yours the same if so press it. Otherwise look in network conenctions and check the lan adaptor isnt disabled.
