Much to my avail, I can't seem to find the new prices (after price hike) for the tariff I'm on. Sign online 10.
I am looking at the old prices and they are way lower then any prices that seem to be currently available..
I imagine that I am in for a nasty shock soon thou!!!
Can anyone help me find these prices??
Please

If you go to the the energyhelpline site and get a quote you can enter SOL 10 as your current tariff. Then when you get the list of other quotes, there's a link near the top of the page that says"To view your current tariff details click here."to tell you what the actual figures are for SOL10.
It's a roundabout way of doing it and it relies on a third party web site to have up to date figures, but I tried it for SOL12 and the figures they gave agreed with the official figures I got from npower themselves a couple of days later (when I finally managed to get through to speak to a human).
FYI, the increases on the SOL12 tariff were way above their headline figure of 14%. For instance, if you use 5000 units a year the increase was 46%.0 -
I'm on SOL12, I got hit with a 66% increase, mainly because they changed their rate structure, as well as their rates.
Is this allowed?0 -
I'm on SOL 8 and my electric unit prices has increased by 99%!!!! effectively doubling my electric bill.
When I pointed out how large the increase was they merely told me it was still competitive.
I'm now changing to Click 5 even though it's yet to rise I hope it won't go up as much.0 -
I was on n-power sign online 11 and yep new prices will push us to £450 annually from £350 due to new structure.I dont know whether to go BG click 5 with rises imminent, edf 2009 protection fixed which would keep annual bill about same or southern electric .Chances are as you say even when BG put up prices I /we will still be paying less than if we stayed with npower-however in jan if BG hike rates again i think things will be pretty much equal and then fixed would have been way to go for piece of mind for the rest of 2009??Mike0
