Hi Alison
Which motor site are you mod, on - I'd be intersted in visiting it!!
Not too sure about this one, though - as the garage doesn't make 5p/ltr profit, it'd be strange for someone else to be able to get a 10p discount, potentially!!
We'll keep watching!!
Till then I'll stick with my Shell credit card & Optimax points!!

I am slightly, but not very, surprised that the AA does not do it for its members.
Perhaps Friends Reunited could do it when under new ownership soon................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -

Hi my name is Ben Scammell, and I am behind Pipeline Card.
I understand your sceptisism on the discount, we are aiming to offer between 5p and 10p per litre discount of forecort prices.
The major retailer we are talking to owns the entire supply chain so can leverage a larger discount on fuel, in return for larger foot fall in their forecort stores which is where the real profit is for them.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us.
Regards,
Ben

One more sceptic ...
This idea will not work. If somebody is a member and has a card this does not mean that they must use only one paticular chain. With the same (or even greater) result this chain can offer discount to everybody - regardless of their membership in some mythic organisation ...0 -
Is it possible for this and the thread titled: Fuel Cards for private motorists in the Motoring & Public Transport forum to be combined?0
