Gah, did that seem rushed or is it just me?

It's a bit late now.. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm leaving for uni in 12 days! I couldn't wait for this article (like I would have liked to). I went for Natwest in the end..

Why? Did you do the research yourself? :)

Thats what everyone should have done instead of relying on others.

Yes :) In fact I did. :) Hence why I do have an account set up, rather than relying on others to tell me what to do.

I applied for the Natwest account today - sell the free webcam (if apply online) and the rail card is the most useful freebie for me (it also caps Oyster cards by 34% for off peak travel)

I'm keeping my regular HSBC current for the e-ISA rate - I just don't want a huge overdraft.. even to put in an ISA - I don't think I'm organised enough, and seeing the account in the minuses by such a huge amount will make me panic!!!
    I'd rather keep things manageable.
Light bulb moment April 07: [strike]£3,655 [/strike] Oct 07: [strike]£2,220[/strike] now 0 - 3 years of Uni debt to be added at a later date :o:D

It is annoying the article was later this year. The problem was simple though - getting the information and confirmation this was the final package from all the banks was tough.

Last year the banks changed their terms half way through the summer, and it made a nonesense of going early. It's a tough call to get it right.
