Steam Cleaners??

Just reading the Lidl newsletter and am interested in this Steam Cleaner

Does anyone use something like this and is it worthwhile buying?

There's a few other threads on the subject of steam cleaners here and here. IIRC someone complained about the smaller ones needing to be constantly refilled, and them being a waste of money. I bought an Earlex wallpaper stripper kit with all the attachments to make it a cleaner from Argos. It is very good and much more powerful than all of the handheld steamcleaners at the sub £40 mark.

  • Read the threads, thanks for those link, didn't think to search icon11.gif

Now I had decided that for £15 it would be worth it for defrosting the freezer alone (door left slightly open recently and the whole thing iced up) and cleaning the cooker...

Now you throw another one into the equation that needs to be bought today

Mind you, I don't think I would have space to store that anywhere, bit more thought needed now icon7.gif

I just put large bowls full of hot water in the chest freeezer and close the lid - replace hot water every 20 mins and it works fine.
